Doctor of Medicine | Urology Location: Los Alamos, NM Employer: VieMed Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Exciting Opportunity for Urology Specialists – Join Our Team as a Locum Provider! Are you an experienced Urologist seeking a flexible and rewarding short-term assignment? Our esteemed healthcare facility is currently looking for a dedicated Urologist to fill a vital temporary role. This is your chance to make a significant impact by providing exceptional clinic and OR coverage during a provider’s medical leave, all while enjoying competitive compensation and supportive team backing. If you’re available starting in November or December and hold an active New Mexico license, we want to hear from you! What You’ll Do: Provide clinic and surgical coverage for up to 12 weeks Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekend responsibilities Support patient care through surgeries and outpatient consultations Maintain a clean professional record and hold an active license to qualify for temporary privileges Commit to at least one week per month, with two weeks preferred, ensuring seamless patient care continuity Required Skills: Valid and active U.S. medical license in Urology, specifically NM license Proven experience in outpatient Urology clinics and surgical procedures Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and reliably in a fast-paced environment Nice to Have Skills: Prior experience working in locum or temporary roles Familiarity with hospital or clinic EMR systems Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree with specialized training in Urology Minimum of 2 years of post-residency practice in Urology Prior locum or temporary assignment experience is a plus, but not mandatory Other Requirements: Must have an active New Mexico medical license Availability to start in November or December Valid certifications and licenses required for temporary privileges Ability to commit to scheduled weekly hours with no on-call duties Willingness to travel as necessary for the assignment Take the next step in your Urology career by joining a dedicated team committed to excellence in patient care.
