Job Responsibilities Perform a range of surgeries including appendectomies, hernia repairs, gallbladder removals, emergency surgeries, and upper and lower endoscopies, among others. Provide preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative care. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans. Be on-call for emergency surgeries, such as trauma cases or unexpected complications. Provide consultations to patients and other medical professionals regarding surgical options and care plans. Provide patient education about post-operative care and follow-up requirements. Maintain accurate and thorough medical records. Skills Expertise in performing a wide variety of general surgeries with minimal supervision. Ability to assess complex medical situations and make sound decisions quickly.
