POSITION SUMMARY The Logistics Analyst will provide logistics and engineering administration support for Engineering Change (EC) and Simple Logistics Update (SLU) development. The role includes creating and tracking SLU projects, validating logistics artifacts, supporting parts updates, and maintaining engineering records in accordance with current SFLC processes and desk guides. This position requires initiative, sound judgment, and originality in researching logistics issues, validating technical data, developing documentation, and presenting solutions that support fleet sustainment and program performance. DUTIES Support EC and SLU development, including creation of SLU-type projects in the SFLC Knowledge Library or equivalent system. Track milestones and verify completion of required logistics artifacts. Support SFLC change record inputs related to parts information and Allowance Parts Lists (APLs). Read and interpret equipment technical manuals, diagrams, drawings, and support documentation. Apply basic knowledge of Equipment/System Integrated Logistics Support Plans (EILSPs) and Equipment Support Sheets (ESSs). Support logistics activities for Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) equipment operation, repair, and sustainment. Use FLS, NESSS, EAL, and related systems to research, validate, and update logistics data. Originate and process CG-22 forms for approval. Draft, process, and complete SLUs in accordance with current SFLC process and desk guide requirements. Conduct market research on CG-22 validity, obsolete parts support, and technical matters related to EC and SLU development. Prepare reports, metrics, and status updates on program performance. Maintain assigned historical files supporting Engineering Branch administration. Perform additional engineering administration support tasks as directed by the COR. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 3 to 10 years of relevant experience in logistics support, engineering administration, maintenance support, technical data management, configuration management, or federal/military sustainment programs. Experience reading technical manuals, diagrams, drawings, or equipment support documentation. Experience supporting HM&E equipment operation, repair, maintenance, or logistics activities. Basic knowledge of FLS, NESSS, EAL, or comparable logistics and asset management systems. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience preparing reports, tracking milestones, and maintaining project files. Strong analytical, documentation, communication, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills. EDUCATION High school diploma or GED. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Associate degree or technical certification in logistics, engineering technology, marine systems, maintenance management, business administration, or a related field. Recent experience, within the last five years, using FLS, NESSS, EAL, or similar USCG logistics systems. Experience supporting USCG, Navy, DoW, or federal engineering/logistics programs. Familiarity with ECs, SLUs, CG-22 forms, APLs, EILSPs, ESSs, SFLC Knowledge Library, SFLC process guides, and Engineering Branch administration.
