Part-Time Logistics Assistant Alaska Production Company | Remote (Alaska-based) $30/hr · ~10 hours/week to start, with room to grow. About Us Alaska Production Company (APC) is a full-service commercial video and photo production company based in Alaska. We produce campaigns for brands like MSC Cruises, Pratt & Whitney, Sorel, Birkenstock, and Rivian, and we serve as the local production partner for visiting crews from across the country. We're a small team scaling fast, and we're hiring our first part-time logistics assistant. The Role You'll work directly with our co-founders, Collin and Kendal Strachan, supporting the operational backbone of our productions. The work is varied. One day you might be sourcing a Juneau lodge for a six-person crew, the next you might be drafting a film permit application for the Tongass National Forest. This role is fully remote and fully flexible. You can work from anywhere in Alaska as long as you have solid internet and a laptop. What You'll Do Help build and format client bids and proposals Coordinate crew rosters and freelancer outreach Research shoot logistics, including locations, transportation, and accommodations Manage permit applications and tracking across federal, state, tribal, and private lands Book travel and lodging for crews Keep our project management systems organized and current What We're Looking For A deep love for Alaska and strong knowledge of the state and its communities Excellent written communication, especially over email Highly organized and detail-oriented Comfortable with spreadsheets, email, calendars, and basic software Self-directed, reliable, and proactive Friendly and professional with vendors, crew, and clients You don't need production or permitting experience. We'll train you on our industry and our processes.
