Then join our team as:Logistics Coordinator JOB Summary:Responsible for allocating confirmed customer orders into logistics processes to be released to the warehouse for picking and packing.Also involved in scheduling and daily operation of inbound/vendor direct shipments to meet customer requirements by selecting common carriers, establishing preferred carriers by region of the country, and negotiating carrier rates.Manage freight damage claims with carriers to ensure timely and proper processing.Shipments are primarily LTL but also include FTL.closely with internal customers and external providers of the supply chain to streamline material flow and control costs.DUTIES AND Responsibilities:Allocate customer orders into logistics processes Schedule vendor shipments direct to customer or inbound to warehouse Review classification of incoming and outgoing materials to determine correct rate classification for the most economical freight rates Interface with global logistics teams from other Big Dutchman locations Assist Customer Service in all requests for shipping information Assist Purchasing in coordinating the delivery of inbound materials and products including expediting materials as needed Approves all carrier charges/invoices for transportation related services Contribute and collaborate as part of the Logistics/Operations team Develop and document logistics processes What is your chance?
