Summary The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) Chief Operating Officer (COO) administers the Director of National Intelligence (DNI's) vision & direction to the ODNI enterprise providing elite support services including synchronizing policy, plans, procedures, & cross-functional issues that enable the ODNI mission. COO oversees most ODNI business operations, including executive support, human resources, security, facilities, continuity, governance, policies, & information management. Duties Provide logistics support to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) (including dispersed offices and centers), ensuring that all aspects of logistics requirements are met by integrating logistics solutions to meet ODNI component objectives, contributing to and managing logistics plans for specific projects or events in support of customer requirements. Coordinate requirements for the logistics procurement process, anticipate stock and supply needs, administer contingency plans, ensure operational readiness through management of contingency materials, and coordinate the transportation of materials. Maintain productive working relationships with ODNI staff, other IC organizations, and private service providers in order to provide logistics support to ODNI and its component organizations. Requirements Conditions of employment Must be a U.S. Citizen residing in the United States Appointment is subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on an SBI with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI) Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. A two-year trial period is required for all new permanent appointments to the ODNI. Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to procure necessary equipment, materials, and supplies. Monitor the status of open orders, and receive/process order cancellations, status updates, and modifications, to ensure actions are being worked and finalized.
