Core Roles Be the point person for all of communication channel within organization, relevant statistics and planning, monthly business reviews and manage division KPIs. Lead and manage sales planning and strategic initiatives including annual, semi-annual, quarterly, weekly operating plans. Challenges and supports forecast assumptions based on analysis of market data, industry dynamics, statistics, and business trends. Create long-range sales forecasts, working closely with Sales and Operations teams. Marketing research (logistics, freight forwarding, warehouse). Execute complex quantitative and qualitative analyses of warehouse and transportation costs and metrics. Provide specialized consulting, strategy development and systems integration services to help clients leverage technology to build effective customer relationships. Support executive management in process development of business. Duties and Responsibilities 50% Transportation Coordination (Carrier Management) Coordinate, schedule, and assign loads based on required delivery dates, needed transit and equipment capacity Schedule pick-up and delivery appointments with clients, handling rescheduling if needed Maintain above 99% on-time delivery (OTD), ensuring successful shipment of freight by tracking deliveries and estimating times of arrival and delivery. Proactive communication with customer and carrier to prevent foreseeable issues 25% POD/Invoice Collections and Audit Obtains all POD (Proof of Delivery) and invoices from carriers Maintain above 99% on time POD/Invoice collection (within 5 business days from delivery) In depth review of provided PODs and audit for any exceptions Identify trends and report issues that can adversely affect POD/invoice collections 25% Settlement and Cost Analysis Verify order details such as delivery information and selling/buying amount before invoice settlement in system Create AP/AR invoices for assigned business accounts and carriers. Collect, analyze financial data and prepare month-end closing report. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred 5+ years of minimum experience in Logistics/Supply chain or related role Experience with Microsoft office, particularly Excel (VLOOKUP’s and pivot tables) Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Great communications skills Being able to work effectively in fast-paced environment Being able to multi-task Skills Detail oriented and ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize time sensitive situations in a fast-paced environment Clear and concise communication skills with good attitude and ability to work in a team setting Able to sense urgency and know when to escalate for assistance Can create and maintain professional relationships with customers and carriers This position is not eligible for employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future.
