Job Description
What to Expect Support multi-program test development, execution, documentation, and root cause analysis. You will be testing the car computer across all different vehicles in the tesla lineup to provide feedback to the design team. What You'll Do Contribute to server rack building/debugging, mechanical fixture setup/teardown, and harness builds Operate tests using environmental chambers for thermal/humidity, vibration, and related equipment Design, build, and dismantle mechanical fixtures, often using T-slotted aluminum extrusion Coordinate with engineers to run scripts (Linux, Python) Connect and disconnect coolant from car computers safely Order parts and communicate with vendors Maintain equipment and handle inventory What You'll Bring Electrical fundamentals for building and debugging circuits in server racks Hands on experience with soldering, power tools, and strip/crimp wire Experience building custom harnesses, including signal and power cables ranging from 22 gauge to 0 gauge Proficiency in using a Digital Multimeter (DMM) to measure voltage and resistance, with strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving issues Comfortable working with vehicle coolant Knowledge of safety and using proper PPE Ability to manage multiple test priorities and communicate proactively Experience with sensors (ex.
