Company OverviewThe IBEW (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers) is a renowned union representing electrical, line, and low voltage workers across the nation.Local 379, serving the Carolinas since 1926, is dedicated to fostering skilled, professionals committed to safety, quality, and career growth.Joining our team means becoming part of a legacy that values craftsmanship, teamwork, and continuous development.Job OverviewWe are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Low Voltage Foreman to lead electrical installation projects specializing in low voltage systems.This role involves supervising crews, managing project timelines, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met on construction sites.The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with strong technical knowledge and a passion for delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities Lead and supervise low voltage electrical crews during installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning of systems such as data, security, fire alarm, and communication networks Coordinate daily work activities to ensure project milestones are achieved efficiently and safely Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings related to low voltage systems Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety protocols at all times Maintain accurate documentation of work progress, change orders, and safety reports using construction management software like ProCore or Bluebeam Collaborate with project managers on scheduling Conduct quality control inspections to verify work meets design specifications and industry standards Experience Proven management or supervising experience in construction or electrical projects involving low voltage systems Extensive construction site experience with a strong understanding of blueprint reading and schematics Familiarity with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera, HeavyBid, or similar tools Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and construction site protocols Hands-on experience with project scheduling, budgeting, and contract management processes Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards BICSI Certification Preferred but not required Join us to lead innovative projects that power the future!
