Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of person(s) licensed by a State regulatory board to prescribe medication and treatment, or under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN). Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Med Surg / Medical 7E Mercy Hospital South - 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Schedule: Part-Time | 24 hours/week Shift Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Sign-On Bonus: Up to $2,000 for part-time and full-time caregivers About the Unit Our Medical unit 7W care for a diverse mix of adult patients who require telemetry monitoring. Common diagnoses include cellulitis, pneumonia, urinary tract infections, chest pain, gastrointestinal issues, COPD exacerbations, and medically stable COVID patients. This is an excellent environment for nurses looking to strengthen assessment skills, broaden clinical experience, and grow within a supportive Med Surg/Telemetry team.
