Job Description
We are seeking a nurse to work in our Independence office.The ideal candidate will be responsible for in office procedures and treatment of patients in a manner that reflects our values with exceptional customer service.Candidate will also contribute to patient care by preparing patient for visit by accurately maintaining patient electronic medical record, organizing clinic and or exam rooms, assisting physicians, adequately monitoring office and clinic inventory supplies, working closely with clinic MA's and other team members as necessary.Performs duties such as greeting patients, pre-certification of tests, procedures and medications processing insurance forms, and answering phones.Electronically submits, calls and/or faxes in prescriptions and refills to outpatient pharmacies Maintains cleanliness of examination rooms; stocks assigned areas and ensures appropriate levels of supplies are maintained.Checks and completes drug and equipment log usage on or equipment item as appropriate.Perform procedures as directed by the physician as directed by the competency checklist.Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and technical competencies.Administer medication and/or care and treatment in accordance with approved nursing techniques.Maintain all documents associated with medications.Graduate from an accredited nursing Program BLS Certification EMR Experience Job Type:Full-time Job Type:Full-time Job Type:Full-time Benefits:401(k) Dental insurance Employee assistance program Flexible spending account Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Physical Setting:Clinic License/Certification:LVN/RN (Preferred) BLS Certification (Preferred) LPN/RN (Preferred) Work Location:In person.
