Job Title: LPN Supervisor Location: Buffalo, NY Employment Type: Full-Time Reports To: Director of Nursing / Administrator Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate and experienced LPN Supervisor to join our assisted living team. The LPN Supervisor is responsible for overseeing resident care staff, ensuring high-quality resident care, and supporting compliance with New York State regulations. This role combines clinical leadership with hands-on nursing care in a resident-centered environment. Key Responsibilities Supervise and support RCA's, PCA's and HHA's and other direct care staff during assigned shifts Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality care in accordance with facility policies and NYS regulations Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Monitor residents’ health status and respond appropriately to changes in condition Coordinate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Participate in care planning, audits, and quality improvement initiatives Serve as a clinical resource and leader on the floor Qualifications Current New York State LPN license in good standing Minimum of 1–2 years of nursing experience , preferably in assisted living, long-term care, or geriatrics Prior supervisory or charge nurse experience strongly preferred Knowledge of NYS assisted living regulations and standards of care Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, and staff Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused approach to care Schedule & Work Environment Flexible scheduling may include days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays Supportive team-oriented assisted living environment Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Benefits may include health insurance, paid time off, holiday pay, and opportunities for professional growth (details vary by position)
