Essential Duties and Responsibilities Adhere to established safety protocols including infection prevention, safe patient handling, and critical lab notifications to maintain a secure care environment. Administer medications, perform nursing interventions, and provide education to patients and their families within the scope of practical nursing practice. Conduct ongoing patient assessments to monitor status, enhance quality, and ensure safety, while communicating findings effectively to the healthcare team. Collaborate closely with supervising RNs or shift managers to meet all patient care needs. Document all care activities and quality monitoring data to support clinical decisions and compliance with quality standards. Communicate patient information to physicians and team members to improve outcomes. Delegate tasks appropriately, fostering teamwork and accountability. Engage patients and families with timely communication and education to support positive health outcomes. Apply critical thinking in nursing practice and pursue continuing education to enhance skills. Education Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program is required. Experience One year of practical nursing experience is preferred. Requirements Current LPN license valid in the state or through compact licensure.
