LSIT Job Description Overview:Join our team as a Land Surveyor in Training (LSIT) and contribute to exciting projects in the field of land surveying.As an LSIT, you will play a crucial role in data collection, analysis, and mapping to support various engineering projects primarily in the oil and gas industry.This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development in the surveying industry.Education/Qualifications: Surveyor in Training certification Bachelor's degree Proficient in AutoCAD, with the ability to fully draft final drawings, including boundary calculations, adjustments, line work, surfaces, and notes Personal Qualities:Self-starter, driven, motivated with a positive attitude Team-oriented Flexible and available to respond to changing client schedules Results-oriented with attention to detail Able to communicate effectively, verbal, and written communication Experience:Proficient in deed interpretation and analysis.Able to communicate with clients, attorneys, and title companies.Experience with ALTA surveys, boundary surveys, and topographic surveys.Experience with jurisdictional processes and requirements of plats, short plats, and boundary line adjustments.Experience with Trimble GPS post-processing adjustments Tasks and Responsibilities:Prepare land surveys, reports, and other project documents at the direction of a professionally licensed surveyor Coordinate with review agencies, client, and sub-consultants Research regulatory requirements Assist primary project managers in completing projects in a timely manner and within project budgets Some fieldwork as requested Other duties as assigned.If you are passionate about land surveying and possess the required skills and experience, we invite you to apply for the LSIT position with our team.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$28.00 - $35.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Flexible schedule Flexible spending account Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Relocation assistance Vision insurance Schedule:8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Supplemental Pay:Bonus opportunities Ability to Commute:Sheridan, WY 82801 (Required) Ability to Relocate:Sheridan, WY 82801:Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location:In person.
