Benefits for a Lube Tech Position:2 weeks of PTO (Paid Time Off) per year and 5 paid holidays Health Insurance Free Oil Changes The Lube Tech role has a base wage and is eligible for commissions.Employees typically average between $16.50 and $17.00 per hour.Starting pay is $16.00 with the ability to earn an extra $3.00 with commissions.You may need to work in hot/cold weather conditions You must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds occasionally You will need to have reliable transportation to the store You don't need to have prior automotive experience.Just a desire to learn! What does a Lube Technician do? Drain motor oil, change oil filter, grease chassis fitting Wash windshield and adjust tire pressure Inspect and top off fluids Assist the customer in selecting oil type and other services Process payment for services performed.Perform coolant exchanges Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor Maintain shop, office, and bathroom cleanliness It might feel like you are studying for a test at the beginning.It's important that all employees gain a strong knowledge of our oils and services.We have a 30 day training and certification process for Lube Technician.You will walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc.for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling and turning.This includes maneuvering in and out of a shallow 3' deep pit.Job Type:Full-time Pay:From $16.00 per hour Benefits:Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Ability to Relocate:Minneapolis, MN 55448:Relocate before starting work (Preferred) Work Location:In person.
