Lumber Counter Sales Associate

Lumber Counter Sales Associate Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Lumber Counter Sales Associate for a lumber company in Chattanooga, TN.In this role, you will be assisting customers with loading materials and helping with any general duties needed.This position is full time temporary to hire.Pay Rate $18.00-$21.00 per hour based on experience Shift and Schedule 7:30am-4:00pm Monday through Friday with some Saturdays when needed Lumber Counter Sales Associate Duties and Responsibilities Estimate materials needed for jobs Fill customer orders from stock and place orders when requested items are out of stock.Prepare sales slips or sales contracts.o Determine replacement parts required, according to inspections of old parts, customer requests, or customers' descriptions of malfunctions.Mark and store parts in stockrooms according to prearranged systems.Operating the sales counter Assist Customers by loading purchases into vehicles Lumber Counter Sales Associate Qualifications and Requirements Strong customer service/sales experience Previous Lumber sales experience preferred Lift up to 50lbs repetitively (in office assessment will be conducted) Background check and drug screen required Benefits Weekly Pay Medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance 40 Hours Service Bonus after 1 year of continuous service and 1500 hours 6 paid Holidays after 1 year of continuous service and 1500 hours 401(k) Retirement Plan Automation Personnel Services is the only staffing agency specializing in manufacturing and industrial roles that offers 401K matching to all eligible contingent and temporary associates.Interested in this job?
