Location: Addison, Texas; Charlotte, North Carolina; or Jacksonville, Florida Hybrid Schedule (3 days onsite/2 days remote) Employment Type: Contract Duration: 12-18 mo. Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 Architect with expertise in Office Web Add-ins and enterprise-scale governance. This role is responsible for defining, standardizing, and operationalizing the lifecycle of Microsoft 365 add-ins, focusing on the transition from legacy COM add-ins to modern Web Add-ins within a large organization. The ideal candidate has experience with M365 admin consoles, Exchange/Outlook, and third-party add-in management. Key Responsibilities Architect, administer, and support Microsoft 365 Web Add-ins across Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams. Manage a portfolio of 300-500 Office/Web add-ins, including third-party integrations. Utilize the Microsoft Admin Center and Office Add-ins to control availability and deployment through the Microsoft Store. Define and maintain controls to ensure only approved add-ins are available to end-users. Lead and standardize the migration from COM add-ins to Web Add-ins. Define technical requirements for migration, including authentication, permissions, and deployment models. Design and implement an enterprise governance framework for third-party and internal add-ins. Establish a formal intake, review, testing, certification, and deployment process. Operate at a large enterprise scale, supporting environments of over 20,000 users. Use PowerShell scripting to automate administration, reporting, and policy enforcement. Required Qualifications Experience: Proven experience as an M365 Architect or Senior M365 Engineer in a large enterprise environment. Technical Skills: Expertise with Microsoft 365 Admin Centers, Exchange/Outlook, and Office Add-ins. Experience with Office Store and integrated add-in deployment models. A working knowledge of web technologies and add-in development concepts is required. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting environments of 20,000+ users. Experience with Microsoft Purview for data protection and compliance. Compensation & Benefits The pay rate for this position is $85.00 - $89.00 per hour.
