Job Description
Machine Operator, Coating Line Primary Location:Rochester, NH Department:Manufacturing Shift:2nd, (2:30 to 11:00) Salary:$Starting $19 plus 10% differential Company Description:Jaeger USA, Inc.manufactures and sells custom private label components for the Construction and Shoe, Leather, and Textile Industries as well as Toll Coating Capabilities.Job Summary:Current positions are for both the front-end and back-end operator.These positions will train on both ends to learn the entire machine, to cover breaks, vacations, and call outs.The Machine Operators, coating line positions, works as part of a team of 2, working the front-end of the equipment applying adhesives and coatings, or the back-end of the equipment laminating product together and rolling the finished goods.This position will train on both ends to learn the machine, to cover breaks, vacations, and call outs.These coatings are applied to various textiles, film, paper, and substrates.Responsibilities:Front end position:Starting at$19 plus 10% differential Operates the front of the coating machine, applying adhesives and coatings, and performing various duties as assigned.Works with the back end coating machine operator to load and unload raw materials and finished goods Back end position:Starting at $19 to $21 plus 10% differential Operates the back of the coating machine, laminating materials to the coated textiles, films, paper, and substrates.Checks and monitors the adhesive and coating weights and coverage, and performing various duties as assigned.Works with the front end machine operator to load and unload raw materials and finished goods Keep accurate records of material and equipment parameters.Records all production data, including raw material used and scrap Maintain all safety standards.Both positions:Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.Understand and follow product specific instructions to generate custom items.Ticket or label orders as specified.Maintain cleanliness of work area throughout shift and at the end of the shift.Report any conditions that need attention to the appropriate manager.Learn the safety features of the machine.Read work orders/instructions and verify that the correct material is used.Qualifications:Must be able to read, write, and follow oral and written directions Must have basic math skills Must have basic computer skills Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more Must be able to stand for 8 hours Must be able to work as part of a team to increase efficiency and accuracy Job Type:Full-time Pay:From $19.00 per hour Expected hours:40 - 45 per week Benefits:401(k) 4% Match Dental insurance Employee assistance program Flexible spending account Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Referral program Retirement plan Vision insurance Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred) Language:English (Required) Shift availability:Night Shift (Required) Work Location:In person.
