General Purpose: The Machine Operator fully operates and maintains the machine to meet production deadlines. Essential Functions Operate equipment in the most safe, efficient, and consistent manner Maintain machine workflow to meet project deadlines Read job tickets and initiate machine set-ups per job ticket specifications Count, pack, and label sleeves, cartons, and skids Perform preventive maintenance on machines as needed Ensure 6S practices are being followed Qualifications Experience with manufacturing equipment and machine maintenance High school diploma or G.E.D. Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals Demonstrated mechanical aptitude through prior work experience Intermediate computer skills Ability to work overtime as needed; overtime may be required during busy periods Ability to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation Candidates are required to undergo a drug screening after receiving a conditional job offer, but before starting employment.
