Enka Candler Manufacturing Facility Seeking Machine Operators New Operators Rotating days/8-hour shifts 6:40a-2:40p; 2:40p-10:40; 10:40p-6:40aOnce trained, switches to a 12-hour dupont schedule Pay:$21.42/hr - Increase to $22.42 once permanently hired Description:Run industrial fiber-making machines to produce conductive fibers; responsible for setting up and operating machines, keeping an eye on the production process, catching and fixing problems, testing finished product, and keeping workspace clean.Job entails hands-on monitoring and production work.What We're Looking For:High school diploma and comfort with basic math Basic computer skills (Excel and Word) Ability to stand for long periods, work with your hands at or above shoulder height, climb stairs, and work on elevated platforms 3 years of manufacturing experience preferred Knowledge of fibers, textiles, or lab equipment is helpful but not required Day-to-Day Responsibilities:Set up, run, and shut down machines following standard procedures Thread fiber through the production line and adjust settings to keep product within quality specs Regularly check the process and fix issues as they come up Test finished fiber and fill out production records accurately Pay:From $21.42 per hour Benefits:401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location:In person.
