TITLE:Machine Operator Position/Machine:Draw Tower Operator Location:Southbridge, MA Industry:Advanced Manufacturing Position Type:Direct hire with benefits that start on day #1 Shifts:One opening on 2nd shift (2pm-10pm).And one opening on 3rd shift (10pm-6am).Pay:Pay on 2nd shift is $23 an hour.Pay on 3rd shift is $24 an hour.Monthly Bonus:Eligible for up to a 10% monthly bonus following 60 days employment.Your Contributions as a Machine Operator:Under close supervision, sets up and operates various types of belt draw towers; simultaneously operates multiple draw towers.Performs visual and mechanical inspections to ensure that the product being produced conforms to process specifications; refers questionable product to more experienced operators.Performs routine machine/equipment maintenance and inspection.Maintains housekeeping practices per departmental 5S program.Able to meet utilization targets and standard times.Accurately enters Database/SAP transactions in the computer.Maintains daily records, including labor sheets and routers.Responsible for observing and following all Environmental, Health and Safety rules and procedures.Your Qualifications as Machine Operator:Must be able to read, write, and speak English.Basic mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Self-motivated and results oriented.Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.Good manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination.Due to the nature of work performed at this facility, US Person status may be required.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$23.00 - $24.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance Application Question(s):There is an opening on 2nd shift and an opening on 3rd shift.2nd shift hours are 2pm-10pm, Monday thru Friday, and pays $23 an hour to start.3rd shift hours are 10pm-6am, Sunday night thru Friday morning, and pays $24 an hour to start.Which shift are you willing and able to work?
