Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of machinery to produce high-quality components and products efficiently and safely. Your expertise in machine operation, technical skills, and commitment to quality will contribute directly to our production goals. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor machinery including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, flexo presses, press brake machines, and CNC programming equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to ensure precise manufacturing processes. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and quality standards. Maintain proper tooling, fixtures, and materials handling procedures to optimize machine performance. Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting on equipment like Fanuc controls, CAM programming systems, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Follow safety protocols diligently while operating forklifts and other hand tools within the manufacturing facility. Assist in assembly line tasks, fabrication processes, and packaging operations as needed to meet production deadlines. Document production data accurately, perform quality control checks, and report any deviations or issues promptly. Experience Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience working with machining equipment such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, or flexo presses. Hands-on knowledge of blueprint reading, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), CAD software like SolidWorks or similar programs. Familiarity with CNC programming, CAM programming, tooling setup, and troubleshooting machine controls including Fanuc systems. Experience operating forklifts and understanding materials handling procedures within a manufacturing environment. Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication processes such as welding, press brake operation, stamping press work, or assembly line tasks. Proficiency with basic math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations during machining processes. Strong attention to detail with experience using precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers for quality assurance.
