Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Machine Operator and become a vital part of producing high-quality products with precision and efficiency! In this role, you will operate a variety of manufacturing machinery, including CNC machines, stamping presses, and fabrication equipment. Your expertise will ensure that production runs smoothly, safety standards are maintained, and quality is consistently achieved. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor machinery such as CNC lathes, milling machines, press brakes, stamping presses, and flexo presses to produce parts according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly. Use precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and maintain quality standards. Program and troubleshoot CNC equipment using Fanuc controls, CAM programming, and CNC programming techniques to optimize machine performance. Handle materials safely using forklifts and other warehouse equipment while adhering to proper materials handling procedures. Perform routine maintenance on machinery to prevent downtime and ensure operational efficiency. Follow safety protocols diligently, including the use of hand tools, personal protective equipment (PPE), and factory safety procedures. Assist with assembly line tasks such as fabrication, welding, tooling setup, and packaging finished products for shipment. Conduct quality control inspections using GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards to verify product accuracy. Maintain detailed documentation of production activities, machine logs, and inspection reports for traceability. Experience Proven factory or manufacturing experience operating machining equipment such as CNC mills, CNC lathes, stamping presses, or fabrication tools. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), Fanuc controls, or other automation systems is highly desirable. Experience with blueprint reading, CAD software like SolidWorks or similar programs is preferred. Knowledge of machining processes including CNC programming and CAM programming techniques. Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers accurately. Hands-on experience with tooling setup, materials handling (including forklift operation), welding, or assembly line work is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with basic math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations. Prior warehouse or factory environment experience demonstrating adherence to safety standards and quality control procedures.
