CNC Machinist (Mill-Turn) - Contract Location: Corona, New York Pay Rate: $50.00/hour + Per Diem Available Saxon is looking for a skilled CNC Machinist with strong Mill-Turn experience, specifically with WFL to support high-precision aerospace manufacturing. If you're comfortable running multi-axis machines, holding ultra-tight tolerances, and completing complex parts in a "done-in-one" environment, this is a strong opportunity. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC mill-turn machines (multi-axis, live tooling, sub-spindle) Machine complex aerospace components from start to finish Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T Perform tool changes, offsets, and minor program edits Hold tight tolerances (±.0002") on materials like Inconel, titanium, and alloy steels Conduct in-process inspections using precision measuring tools Troubleshoot machining issues and improve processes on the floor Qualifications: 5+ years of CNC machining experience (aerospace or high-spec manufacturing preferred) Strong mill-turn / multi-axis machining background Ability to complete full machine setups independently Experience working with complex prints and GD&T Proven ability to machine tight-tolerance, critical components Experience with WFL Millturn machines (M-series or similar) Familiarity with Siemens or Fanuc controls Experience machining large or complex production parts Program editing or prove-out experience This position must meet (ITAR) export control compliance requirements.
