An expanding digital/mail order pharmacy specializing in dispensing non-insurance medications is seeking experienced fulfillment pharmacists to support their busy operations. This role offers direct hire opportunities focused on weekend and per diem shifts, providing a dynamic environment for pharmacists skilled in high-volume settings. Location: Independence, KY Type: Direct Hire Schedule Saturday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Sunday: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM Occasional weekday shifts as needed (Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) Responsibilities: Complete full-cycle pharmacy dispensing and fulfillment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency Verify and check prescriptions with attention to detail Supervise and coordinate activities of pharmacy technicians Adapt quickly to a fast-paced, high-volume workflow to meet demand Collaborate effectively with the team to maintain smooth operations in a busy mail order environment Desired Experience and Qualifications: Licensed Pharmacist with an active Kentucky license (pharmacists licensed in Cincinnati, OH are encouraged to confirm KY licensure) Proven background in high-volume retail pharmacy dispensing preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills essential Ability to efficiently manage workflow and handle large prescription volumes About the Role This mail order pharmacy processes over 200,000 prescriptions monthly and is rapidly growing, with plans to add new accounts.
