Maintenance and Safety Coordinator.Truss plant in Gainesville, FL Location:Gainesville, FL Company:Building Supply Company Gainesville, FL Job Description:Maintenance and Safety Coordinator needed for one of the best building supply companies in the Southeast United States (Gainesville, FL).Spanish speaking a plus but not required.Monday-Friday dayshift needed, $20++per hour and up (based on experience) PLUS QTRY BONUSES AVERAGING $2500 PER QTR OVER THE LAST YEAR!!! 50 hours a week on average so plenty of OT available! Please apply to this ad all Operations Coordinators familiar with building supply, construction and carpentry on an assembly line.Truss plant experience preferred.Job description below:Maintenance/Safety Operations Coordinator Job Responsibilities Work directly with the Plant Manager to assist him with tasks necessary to run the plant.Learn various programs to assist (back-up) scheduling the plant as needed.Assist with maintenance, safety, inventory control, material staging, and job sequencingEnsure compliance with safety and quality inspections using Quality ReportsUse eMaintenance to enter and manage work orders, track preventive and corrective maintenance, and document daily machinery inspections.In charge of biweekly safety meetings through building power point presentations, and maintainingmeeting logsAct as the payroll processor for production employees by verifying daily time records and submitting accurate time reports to accounting.Other duties as assigned Skills and Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or relevant experience preferredTechnically savvy with a strong working knowledge of excel and other Microsoft Suite toolsConstruction experience is a plusManufacturing experience is a plusStrong organizational skills and ability to multitask Physical Work Environment:Manufacturing/production facility environment May require standing, walking, and occasional lifting Exposure to noise; PPE required when on the production floor Technically savvy with a strong working knowledge of excel and other Microsoft Suite tools Construction experience is a plus Manufacturing experience is a plus Job Type:Full-time Pay:$20.00++per hour and up based on experience and OT! benefits qtrly bonuses up to $2500!
