Maintenance Assistant

Position Title:FT Maintenance Assistant Laurel Square Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is a 87 bed long term care facility located in Philadelphia, PA.We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Assistant to join our team on a full time basis.As a Maintenance Assistant the responsibilities will be:Implement maintenance systems to meet residents' needs in compliance with federal, state and local requirements Implement a monitoring system for the maintenance department and make recommendations for implementation to assure compliance with federal, state and local requirements.Demonstrates competence in leadership, tactful interpersonal communication and problem solving.Notify supervisor when equipment is in need of repair.Notify supervisor when areas of the facility are in need of repair.Maintenance assistant Qualifications:High School, trade/vo-tech graduate or equivalent.Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.Must function independently, exhibit flexibility, personal integrity and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, families and support agencies.Is familiar with Federal and State Long Term Care regulations and requirements.We look forward to reviewing your resume!
