Maintenance Assistant

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Maintenance technician to join our team at The Lincoln Home.We are looking to hire a full time and Part time Maintenance technician Fulltime consists of 40 hours per week with rotating weekends when the schedule requires it Part time position is every weekend only Our Maintenance technicians assist all departments and residents in all kinds of situations from setting up for special events, trash removal, basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical skills needed.Maintain monthly safety documentation, perform Preventive Maintenance schedules as needed.Open to changing work assignments throughout the work day.Driving residents to appointment and events.The ability to work as a team or independently is essential.Reliability and dependability is a must.Must show good judgment and maintain confidentiality and a good judgement in decision making.The major part of winter and summer grounds maintenance is done by contractors.This is an excellent opportunity for a long-term career not just a job The Lincoln home is close to celebrating its 100 yr in helping the residents of Lincoln county be part of that milestone and apply now.Weekend Differential Pay:$20.00 - $23.00 per hour Benefits:Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Referral program Retirement plan Vision insurance People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience:carpentry or maintenance:1 year (Preferred) Ability to Commute:Newcastle, ME 04553 (Preferred) Work Location:In person.
