Maintenance Laborer

JOB SUMMARY The Maintenance Laborer is responsible for power washing the heavy equipment in preparation for the mechanics, maintaining cleanliness in the shop bays by ensuring floors and work areas are free of clutter, tools, and debris associated with repairing the equipment.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Able to perform the essential functions of the position according to the Physical Demands Analysis Operate industrial pressure washing equipment Perform visual inspections while cleaning Perform basic maintenance in wash bay area as necessary Perform environmental compliance tasks and/or projects Communicate with on-shift coordinator and operations personnel Follow all mine safety requirements and best practices Work rotating shifts as required Attend all team meetings Regular and predictable attendance Other projects as assigned Complies with the Company Drug and Alcohol Policy.
