Job Description: Summary Manage the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) by scheduling projects, maintaining parts inventory, creating SOPs, and updating safety programs. Develop and evaluate preventive maintenance plans while coordinating part orders, vendor communications, and ensuring accurate inventory control. Prepare and analyze maintenance documentation, conduct audits, and support compliance activities to minimize downtime. Ensuring purchase orders are entered into the enterprise resource planning systems/computerized maintenance management system. Promote a culture of safety by reporting hazards promptly and actively participating in Safety Committee meetings. Responsibilities Administrate and maintain the computerized maintenance management system, monitor inventory levels, creation of standard operating procedures, and updating safety programs for the maintenance department, scheduling and planning maintenance projects. Create, update and evaluate predictive/preventive maintenance plans utilizing the computerized maintenance management system, inputting work orders, updating asset listings and parts inventory database. Prepare and update documentation detailing maintenance procedures, process, and analyze maintenance activities. Maintain parts and equipment inventory by ensuring a consistent and accurate inventory level of available parts, tools and supplies in order to support limited downtime during equipment failures or planned maintenance. Coordinate part orders to maintain critical stock items, components required for common repairs, and planned maintenance. Communicate with vendors to obtain needed parts and equipment, resolve delivery issues, substitutions, warranty claims, and find new reliable sources for supporting maintenance initiatives. Ensure purchase orders are entered into the enterprise resource planning systems/computerized maintenance management system, verifying all approvals are received before initiating orders with vendors, receive, inspect, and stock incoming parts, verifying against purchase orders and packing slips. Organize and label parts cage, maintain physical inventory count reporting and complete cycle counting, month/quarter/year-end inventory. Participate in and conduct inspections, audits, and other compliance related tasks. Promote a culture of safety and reporting any unsafe conditions, equipment malfunctions or potential hazards immediately. Attend Safety Committee meetings Maintain safe and clean working environment by performing housekeeping complying with GMPs SQF HAACP, LOTO and general workplace safety standards Must maintain accurate documentation that is legible, and organized Must follow good manufacturing practices Must ensure food safety and quality are maintained by following regulations and company guidelines Participate in ongoing training related to job duties, safety, equipment operation, and product handling. Supervisory Responsibilities Ensuring usage of CMMS system by technicians Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience) Understanding of maintenance processes and asset management Must be at least 18 years of age or older Preferred Qualifications 3 or more years in manufacturing 3 or more years of experience with CMMS or ERP systems is a plus Education / Certificates: High School Diploma or Equivalent Physical Requirements Ability to perform repetitious work. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to stand up to 80% of shift. Squatting, and pushing/pulling up to 30% of shift. Twisting, grasping, reaching, turning, stooping, and lifting up to 80% of shift. Location: 100 Ceramic Tile Drive, Morganton, NC 28655 Work Environment Work areas consist of both indoor and outdoor warehouse setting, concrete flooring, moderate noise levels, and led lighting Fast-paced Automated machinery and equipment for processing and production Warehouse is not climate controlled; temperatures very based on seasonal changes providing exposure to heat, cold, humidity and dust Travel: Travel to industry events, visitation to facilities within company network may be required on occasion Expected Hours: Variable shifts; production lines run 24 hours / 7 days a week and requires all employees to have open availability, including but not limited to working weekends, e
