Job Description Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities: Ensures maintenance employees are properly trained and following safe work practices and procedures. Provide leadership and direction to the Maintenance Team. Inspire high performance through effective maintenance staff training and development, goal setting, and performance measurement. Responsible for Preventive and Predictive Maintenance of plant assets. Prioritizes and oversees day-to-day activities of the Maintenance Department. Responsible for departmental cost management. Coordinate plant projects, design and development, overhauls, machine relocation, etc. Liaison for State or Federal inspections, Local Fire Department & Insurance inspections. Ability to prioritize workload and balance administrative duties with time spent on the floor.
