Job Summary Southern Industrial Constructors seeks Maintenance Mechanic for an on-going site in the West Jefferson, NC area. This is a third shift position : 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm. Hired candidates will be considered for Benefits/Paid Time Off after 3-months. #SIC #LI On-Site Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform Daily PM's as scheduled for equipment at the site. Repair and maintain equipment in accordance with OEM specifications. This includes machinery and mechanical equipment such as motors, ballscrews and PLC's for production equipment. Ability to diagnose and make repairs on variety of plant equipment and systems. Diagnose equipment failure and institute action to return equipment to normal operations. Knowledge of electrical controls and power distribution. Knowledge of compressed air, HVAC, and domestic water systems. Maintain records and logs as needed. Knowledge of safety standards and precautions for plant maintenance and repair work. Complete all Safety and general job training as required by SIC. Observe SIC/Client Safety processes and procedures at all times. Maintain a safe, clean and organized working environment. Perform other job duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager. Qualifications 2-year degree in Electrical/Machine Technology or Similar Technology Degree plus 5 years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician Or 10 Plus years' experience as an Industrial Maintenance Mechani
