About the Role: The Maintenance Planner plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of production equipment within the facility by developing and managing comprehensive maintenance schedules. This position focuses on coordinating predictive and preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of plant assets. The Maintenance Planner collaborates closely with maintenance teams, production staff, and management to align maintenance plans with operational goals and safety standards. By analyzing equipment performance data and maintenance history, the planner identifies opportunities for process improvements and cost savings. Ultimately, this role ensures that maintenance resources are optimally allocated to support continuous production and operational excellence across the plant. Minimum Qualifications: Electrical or Mechanical with at least 2 years of professional experience in a similar position or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proven experience in maintenance planning or maintenance management within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance techniques and plant maintenance best practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent communication skills, including business correspondence. Responsibilities: Creation and adaptation of preventive maintenance plans, based on machine documentation and on the lessons learned from previous maintenance activities. Daily work assignment of preventive maintenance tasks in coordination with the local production controller(s). Maintain local SAP system (close work orders, check reported times, check for correct use of the system). Local key user for SAP-PM and main contact person for Corporate Maintenance (CU4PM) for SAP-PM related topics. SAP-PM training for new staff. Local implementation of new SAP-PM processes, as defined by CU4PM. Generation of reports, as defined by CU4PM and the Maintenance Manager. Monitor spare part storage (correct bookings/ safety stock/ inventory). Plan and monitor continuous improvement actions based on SAP-PM analyses and KPIs, in coordination with the local Maintenance Manager. Planning, monitoring, and execution of maintenance activities with external suppliers. Support the Maintenance Manager to record the team member attendance rate, annual holiday, etc. Coordination of training programs, such as PLC programming, hydraulics and maintenance trainings with machine suppliers. Other duties assigned by the local Maintenance Manager. Skills: The Maintenance Planner utilizes predictive maintenance skills daily to anticipate equipment failures and schedule timely interventions, thereby reducing downtime. Maintenance management expertise is essential for organizing and prioritizing maintenance activities to align with production schedules and resource availability. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint is used to analyze maintenance data, track key performance indicators, and communicate plans and results effectively to stakeholders. Knowledge of plant maintenance and production equipment, including compressors, enables the planner to understand technical requirements and collaborate effectively with maintenance technicians. Strong business correspondence skills ensure clear and professional communication across departments and with external vendors.
