Job Summary:The Assistant for Maintenance Production Control supports the planning, coordination, and execution of aircraft maintenance activities.This role ensures that all maintenance operations are scheduled efficiently, comply with regulatory requirements, and minimize aircraft downtime.The position works closely with maintenance teams, engineering, supply chain, and operations to maintain safe and airworthy aircraft.Key Responsibilities:Assist in developing and maintaining daily and long-term maintenance schedules for aircraft and components Coordinate maintenance activities with internal departments, including engineering, quality assurance, and logistics Track aircraft status, maintenance progress, and return-to-service timelines Ensure all maintenance actions comply with FAA regulations, company policies, and safety standards Update and maintain maintenance records, work orders, and tracking systems Monitor availability of parts, tools, and manpower to support scheduled work Communicate schedule changes, delays, or issues to relevant stakeholders Support troubleshooting of scheduling conflicts and operational disruptions Prepare reports on maintenance performance, delays, and productivity metrics Assist with audits and documentation reviews as required Scanning Logbook Records Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in aviation management, engineering, or related field preferred Basic knowledge of aircraft maintenance operations and regulatory requirements (FAA or equivalent) Strong organizational and time management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with maintenance tracking software is a plus Logbook Tracking Excellent communication and coordination abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance Preferred Skills:Familiarity with aircraft maintenance planning systems (e.g., TRAX, AMOS, or similar) Understanding of technical documentation such as maintenance manuals and service bulletins Prior experience in aviation, maintenance planning, or production control environments Working Conditions:Office environment with frequent interaction with maintenance hangar operations May require shift work, including evenings, weekends, or holidays depending on operational needs Key Competencies:Problem-solving and critical thinking Multitasking and prioritization Team collaboration Adaptability and flexibility This role is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in aviation maintenance planning and operations, with opportunities for advancement into production control, maintenance planning, or operations management.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Work Location:In person.
