MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR - 190-UNIT AFFORDABLE LIVING COMMUNITY - MONROE Lead. Repair. Repeat! Samaritas is looking for a maintenance leader who supports strong communities. Help keep our Affordable Housing Community safe, clean and reliable. Our hands-on Maintenance Supervisor oversees the maintenance of building and grounds ensuring compliance with Samaritas licensing and regulatory housing requirements. A key component to this role is researching and presenting maintenance bids to Affordable Living management. As our Maintenance Supervisor, you will be computer literate, with experience with property management and payroll software (Yardi, Onesite, UltiPro/UKG, Workforce Management). This team member will be professional and empathetic when interacting with our residents, staff and contractors. The hourly wage for this integral team member is $27.50. Welcome to Samaritas Nation! APPLY TODAY! #BeTheRock, creating ripples of positive transformation in the lives of those we are entrusted to serve! _________________________________________________________________________________ Duties And Responsibilities Develop, communicate and ensure enforcement of written standardized procedures for building and grounds maintenance and cleanliness Provide day-to-day direction to assigned staff. Participate with hiring, onboarding, staff development, coaching and counseling and performance management. Ensure delegation of responsibility, authority and accountability Conduct routine inspections of work areas to ensure safe and proper maintenance procedures are followed at all times. Oversee preventative maintenance program for center Implement strategies to ensure building and grounds are free from hazards that may be caused by electrical, plumbing, and/or heating and cooling systems, and to optimize resident comfort, safety and convenience Oversee and implement proper general maintenance such as equipment repair, snow removal, lawn care, painting, decorating, carpeting, lighting systems and parking lots Maintain on-call availability for emergencies related to building maintenance Seek bids on large maintenance projects with approval of manager Obtain daily work order requests and establish department work priorities, coordinating maintenance schedules and work with other departments to ensure on-going quality care for residents Assist in developing/maintaining safety and security programs for the assigned property ensuring that internal security, fire safety and prevention of the loss of property meets regulatory and/or organization requirements Cooperate with all departments and programs to effect efficient and effective operation of the property _________________________________________________________________________________ Job Qualifications Education, Training, and Licensure/Certification High school diploma or equivalent preferred Advanced schooling in mechanical and/or maintenance disciplines preferred Experience Three years’ experience in building maintenance Supervisory experience preferred Experience with researching and presenting maintenance bids to property management Computer literacy: property management and payroll software (Yardi, Onesite, UltiPro/UKG, Workforce Management) Demonstrated understanding of being professional and empathetic when interacting with others Additional Work Requirements Works extended hours #equipment #repair #building
