Unsolicited resumes, outreach from staffing agencies and recruiters will not be accepted.Who We Are GNS North America Established 2009 We deliver advanced metalworking solutions for automotive and industrial clients, specializing in stamping, welding, laser cutting, and assembly.Our in-house tool & die capabilities provide full design, simulation, and build services for complex projects.Stamping Hot and conventional stamping (100-800 tons) Automotive & industrial metals Multi-location facilities for high-volume production Laser Cutting Multi-axis laser systems for prototyping & production Flat and 3D part cutting, trimming, and hole piercing Versatile with various metals and thicknesses Welding & Assembly Spot welding for Ultra High Strength Steel & press-hardened parts Highly automated robotic cells for precision and efficiency Focused on quality, speed, and cost reduction Position Summary:Under minimal supervision, perform routine maintenance procedure, help troubleshoot and quickly repair any robotic, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic problem that arise.Support all equipment and systems within the facility.Essential Responsibilities:Install, mount, tryout, maintain, and remove all electrical equipment, such as, 480-volt portion of bus systems, control panels, distribution panels, Junction boxes, wire ways, conduit runs, cable and wire switches, operator stations, relays, solenoids, plugs, receptacles, etc.Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems such as fuses, heaters, motors, relays, wire Intermediate relay logic, AC/DC motor drives using instruments such as electronic voltmeters.Make repairs to ABB robotic equipment, such as replacement of defective circuit boards, sensors, controllers, encoders, or servomotors.Maintain, dismantle, repair, and replace mechanical and hydraulic components (e.g.bearings, seals, details, carriers, etc.) on industrial machinery such as shafting, motors, generators, air compressors, engines, pumps, cylinders, gears, couplings, linkages, ball screws, coolant systems and filters, and combustion equipment and valves.Read and interpret blueprints for the mechanical operation and assembly of conveyor systems, material handling systems, robots, and other automation.Operate mobile equipment (e.g., forklifts, vertical lifts, cranes) Operate a variety of hand and power tools; wrenches, ratchets, hammers, chisels, pry-bars, grinders, saws, drills, air impact wrench etc.Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.Maintain service records of robotic equipment or automated production systems.Perform preventive or corrective maintenance checks.Work in coordination with Maintenance Technicians.Provide mentoring and on the job training to lower-level technicians.Communicate with other shifts and coworkers to ensure progress of project or repair.Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.Perform additional duties as assigned.Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Education and Experience:High school diploma or GED 3years of experience in industrial maintenance Good command of the English language (grammar and language) Good math skills Familiarity of machines and tools.Use logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.Experience with use of robot pendants.Visual acuity is required for reading machine dials, work orders, precision measuring instruments and for performing visual/physical quality inspections.Ability to use Calipers and measuring tools.Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Knowledge:Knowledge of machines and tools, uses, repair and maintenance Mechanical system knowledge Hydraulic knowledge Electrical knowledge Basic knowledge of production process.Skills:Good communication skills Good computer skills.Abilities:Ability to bring assignments to a successful completion Ability to apply principles of logical thinking of a wide range of practical problems Ability to work independently and make independent decisions.Training Requirements:1.General Safety.2.Quality System Awareness and Procedures.Physical Demands & Work Environment:The characteristics described below are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this position.Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Physical Demands:The position is in the factory and involves walking, standing for long periods of time throughout the day.It requires being able to lift up to 50 pounds, push and pull up to 75 pounds.While performing duties of this job, you will be required to stand, walk, si
