Fort Wayne, Indiana (On-Site) $26-$30/hour - Competitive pay based on experience Shift:11:00 PM - 7:30 AM Job Type:Contract / Contract-to-Hire Potential Industry:Automotive Manufacturing Experience Level:Mid-Senior Openings:1 Visa Sponsorship:Not available Relocation Assistance:Not provided Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced production environment.This role supports electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, ensuring equipment reliability and production continuity.The ideal candidate is technically strong in electrical systems while also capable of supporting mechanical troubleshooting and repair tasks.Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair CNC lathes and forge presses Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical failures Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components Perform routine inspections to prevent equipment failures Interpret electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints Replace faulty components and verify proper operation Document maintenance activities and repairs Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and production teams Maintain compliance with safety and electrical codes Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Minimum 4 years experience working with:AC/DC drives Servo motors PLC systems Pneumatics Hydraulics Industrial control systems Experience troubleshooting CNC machines and mechanical presses Ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical failures Working knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic blueprints Basic computer skills and communication abilities Ability to work onsite and overtime as needed Preferred Qualifications Strong electrical troubleshooting background Experience in production-oriented manufacturing environments Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing equipment Work Environment Industrial manufacturing facility Night shift role Overtime may be required Must live within commuting distance or relocate independently Compensation Note Pay is determined based on experience level and technical skill set.Candidates will be evaluated accordingly within the established pay range.Job Type:Contract Pay:$30.00 per hour Application Question(s):1.Full Name Please provide the candidate's complete name (First, Middle, Last):2.Education What is the candidate's highest level of education?3.Unique Identifier Please provide the last four digits of the candidate's Social Security Number:4.Compensation What is the candidate's desired hourly pay rate? 5.Professional Profile Please provide the link to the candidate's LinkedIn profile:6.Location & Relocation Where is the candidate located?
