Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician About us Ares Steel is a family owned an operated rebar fabrication plant in Riviera Beach, FL. Responsibilities -Maintain and repair industrial machinery that require knowledge of controls, pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, and general mechanical components. Conduct inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues Respond to maintenance requests from machine operators Supervise and coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or projects Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities Fabricate or repair equipment and fixtures as needed. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment Experience: Proven experience in general maintenance and repair work Strong knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulic, and electrical systems Excellent communication skills and positive attitude Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively Leadership skills to supervise external contractors and coordinate maintenance projects Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
