Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team.In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and safety of our facilities and equipment.Your expertise will help maintain a seamless environment by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting complex systems, and executing repairs efficiently.This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced setting, supporting both manufacturing and facilities operations with enthusiasm and precision.Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and building infrastructure to prevent breakdowns and ensure safety.Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues using schematics, Ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.Repair or replace defective components through welding, electrical work, or mechanical adjustments to restore equipment functionality promptly.Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to diagnose automation system faults and implement necessary repairs or adjustments.Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and maintenance records to accurately identify issues and execute solutions.Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders, parts inventory, and service history.Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as residential painting or general building upkeep to support a safe working environment.Collaborate with team members to improve processes, ensure compliance with safety standards, and enhance overall operational efficiency.Lead or participate in training sessions on equipment operation or safety procedures as needed to foster a knowledgeable workforce.Experience Proven experience in manufacturing or facilities maintenance environments with a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.Demonstrated proficiency with schematics reading, troubleshooting electrical circuits, and using diagnostic tools like Ohmmeters.Hands-on welding experience combined with knowledge of residential painting techniques is highly desirable.Supervising experience in maintenance teams or projects is preferred; leadership skills are essential for guiding junior technicians.Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CMMS software, and electrical safety standards is required.Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and effective teamwork across diverse departments.Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately while maintaining attention to detail during complex repairs.Join us as a Maintenance Technician if you're passionate about keeping operations running smoothly through your technical expertise!
