Position Overview Position Overview Maintenance Technician III will be to have an expert level of knowledge of all plant machinery, including controls and subsystems. You must be able to operate machinery to produce Trojan products and components. As the Maintenance Technician III you will perform maintenance on all plant machinery (hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.) utilizing proper skilled techniques to assure the safe, efficient operation of all plant machinery. Maintenance Technician III will comply with all safety requirements and proper use of PPE as well as understand and follow the Quality policy and Lean initiatives. If you are ready to get charged in your career Areas of Focus Maintenance Technician III focuses on performing electrical testing, motor testing, fuse/continuity check, voltage/resistance/current relationships, read and follow blueprints and draw schematics. Responsibilities Can perform all assigned duties of a Level I and Level II Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals Proficient in operating a wide variety of tools and instruments (including micrometers, calipers, voltmeters and other gauges; hand tools, power tools, computers) Advise supervisor of problems and make suggestions and repairs as needed Performs machinery and equipment examinations to troubleshoot for defects in operation; troubleshoots equipment containing a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) using ladder logic, other tools and analysis Proficient working knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance Prepare reports on improving operations Proficient in Ohm's Law (Electrical formulas and equa
