LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support a manufacturing facility in Henderson, North Carolina. This role is responsible for maintaining production equipment, minimizing downtime, and ensuring machinery operates safely and efficiently within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and experience supporting automated production equipment. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and production lines. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Support the installation, commissioning, and upgrades of new equipment and machinery. Maintain work orders and preventive maintenance schedules within CMMS systems. Partner with production and quality teams to identify recurring equipment issues and implement long-term solutions. Ensure compliance with safety standards, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), PPE requirements, and equipment guarding. Conduct routine inspections to identify equipment wear, potential failures, or unsafe conditions. Support plant performance objectives and manufacturing KPIs by minimizing downtime. Assist with 5S initiatives and maintain organized maintenance work areas. Qualifications 7+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, and PLC systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. Experience using diagnostic tools and CMMS systems. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with automated production equipment. Technical diploma or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred. Ability to work occasional overtime or weekends if emergency repairs are required.
