Job Description
We're looking for a hands on Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll assemble, maintain, and repair industrial equipment including conveyors, pumps, hydraulic systems, saw notchers, and other material handling machinery. Maintain and replace machine components (motors, sprockets, gears, valves, linkages, etc.) Wire electrical panels and field components Perform machine set-up and timing adjustments Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems, as well as product quality issues Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, manlifts, and other material handling equipment Collaborate with Engineering, Machine Shop, Assembly, Parts Room, Welding, and Service departments Follow all Food Safety, GMP, and company safety program requirements Assist at other facilities as needed Required Skills High School Diploma or GED (or 1 year of equivalent work experience) Mechanically inclined with experience using hand and power tools Familiarity with complex machinery such as industrial equipment, automobiles, or farm equipment Ability to read assembly drawings, parts lists, and technical documents Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently Comfortable working in high-heat environments (temps exceeding 100°F) Ability to work as part of a team Work Enviroment Moderate to high noise levels ( hearing protection required) Hot conditions with possible dust, fumes, or chemicals present Collaborative team environment working across multiple departments and facilities Schedule Day shift 8-hour shifts Monday – Friday Some Saturdays required COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Competitive hourly wage (DOE) Overtime pay available Medical, dental & vision insurance Paid time off 401K
