Location:Brookfield, WI Pay:$28-$30 per hour (based on experience) Employment Type:Full-Time Overview:We're seeking an experienced and reliable Property Maintenance Technician to join our team in Madison.This hands-on role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys troubleshooting, and can handle a variety of maintenance and repair tasks across residential and/or commercial properties.Responsibilities:o Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems, equipment, and facilities o Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders from tenants and management o Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance issues o Maintain exterior areas including snow removal, groundskeeping, and basic landscaping as needed o Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards o Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or large projects o Keep accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent o Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes Qualifications:o 3years of experience in property, facilities, or building maintenance o Strong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems o Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities o Excellent communication and customer service skills o Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required o HVAC or other trade certifications a plus Schedule:o Full-time, Monday through Friday o Occasional on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
