Maintenance Technician Thornhill Properties, Inc. – Baltimore, MD Thornhill Properties is a growing Baltimore-based property management company seeking a skilled, reliable, and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. We manage a diverse portfolio of multifamily apartment communities, condominium associations, and commercial properties throughout Baltimore City and County. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates professionally with residents and clients, and can handle day-to-day maintenance needs efficiently and independently. Responsibilities Complete maintenance service requests in occupied apartments, condominiums, and commercial properties Perform basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, and carpentry repairs Troubleshoot maintenance issues and identify practical solutions Assist with unit turns and apartment renovations Conduct routine inspections of buildings, mechanical systems, and common areas Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed Respond to emergency maintenance calls on a rotating basis Maintain professional communication with residents, board members, and coworkers Keep accurate records of completed work orders Qualifications Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience preferred Experience in multifamily or property management maintenance strongly preferred General knowledge of: Plumbing Electrical HVAC systems Drywall/painting Appliance repair HVAC certification preferred but not required Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various indoor/outdoor conditions What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Company vehicle or vehicle allowance for qualified candidates Health benefits Paid time off Growth opportunities within an established and respected local company Supportive team environment About Thornhill Properties Founded in Baltimore in 1986, Thornhill Properties is a family-owned property management and brokerage firm specializing in community associations, multifamily housing, and commercial real estate.
