The Raines Law Room at the William is seeking a talented and experienced Maître D’ to join our hospitality team. We are a busy, upscale cocktail bar that thrives on upbeat energy, passionate individuals, and creative cocktails. We are currently seeking a full-time Maître D’ for 4–5 shifts per week. This role is ideal for someone who can represent our brand with warmth, professionalism, and confidence while creating an exceptional first impression for our guests. The Maître D’ will be responsible for managing the flow of service, overseeing reservations and waitlists, assisting with the coordination of the front door team, and helping maintain a smooth and organized guest experience throughout the evening. This is also a keyholder position. Candidates should be able to provide guests with accurate wait times, maximize venue flow without overwhelming service staff, and remain composed and solution-oriented in a high-volume environment. Experience with Resy Reservations or OpenTable is required. Position Qualifications Professional and polished demeanor and appearance Must be available full time, including late nights and weekends Minimum 3 years of hospitality and guest-facing experience required Experience with Resy or OpenTable reservation systems is required Strong organizational and guest communication skills Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Ability to lead by example and maintain composure in high-volume service Confident handling guest concerns with professionalism and hospitality Interest in cocktails and upscale hospitality TIPS certification required within 30 days of hire (course cost will be reimbursed) Takes initiative and works well independently Comfortable with opening and closing responsibilities Team-oriented with a willingness to go above and beyond for guests and coworkers Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour Benefits Employee discount Flexible schedule Application Question(s): Have you led a front door team before?
