Sign on Bonus : Up to $5,000 (if applicable) Schedule : Full Time Days, 8am to 4:30pm or 4 10's Benefits for eligible positions include : generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and more Vincent's Birmingham North Tower Imaging, we offer a range of imaging services, including X-ray, bone density (DEXA), CT, MRI, and ultrasound with a strong focus on specialized breast imaging. Our collaborative team works Monday through Friday with no evening or weekend shifts in an environment committed to high quality patient care. Provide mammography imaging services. Operate equipment and perform various mammography related procedures. Explain procedures and educates patients about the role of regular mammography in preventive breast health. Develop and evaluate the film for technical quality such as density contrast, definition, and distortion. Ensure prompt submission of high-quality of all images and documents sent to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history). Ensure equipment is properly functioning. Report potential problems or equipment malfunction to appropriate personnel. Assist in maintaining a clean, and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area and any other areas in department May perform bone density scans using DEXA equipment, if applicable. Licensure / Certification / Registration: Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
