Key Responsibilities: Perform routine and diagnostic mammography exams on patients as per physician orders. Operate and maintain mammography equipment, ensuring it is functioning properly. Position patients and properly expose mammographic films to capture diagnostic images. Review images for clarity, quality, and accuracy, ensuring that they meet the required standards. Ensure patient safety by explaining procedures and answering any questions about the process. Provide excellent patient care, ensuring comfort and dignity for patients during the exam. Maintain accurate and timely records of patient procedures and outcomes. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards, including those set by the FDA and ACR (American College of Radiology).
