X-Ray Technologists – Train in Mammography! Imaging Healthcare Specialists (IHS) is seeking X-Ray Technologists who are eager to expand their skills and train in Mammography . In this role, you’ll build upon your radiologic expertise while learning advanced mammography imaging procedures under the guidance of IHS’s experienced team of technologists and radiologists. This is a unique opportunity to advance your career and make a meaningful impact on patient care. What You’ll Do Perform X-ray imaging procedures with precision, maintaining IHS quality and safety standards. Participate in structured training to become a certified Mammography Technologist. Support interdepartmental needs and assist other imaging teams as required. Maintain accurate records, adhere to radiation safety standards, and uphold patient confidentiality. Apply Lean principles and the Single Patient Flow model to continuously improve efficiency and care quality. You will need to complete the following once hired 40-hour initial mammography training course with 8 hours in digital mammography. 8 hours of Tomosynthesis training. Successfully pass the California State Mammography Licensing Exam — IHS will reimburse all exam costs after 12 months of productivity. What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in Radiologic Sciences required (bachelor’s preferred). CurrentARRT, CRT, and CPR certifications. Eagerness to learn and develop new imaging skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with MERGE and PACS systems a plus. Excellent communication, teamwork, and attention to detail. Commitment to patient-centered care and professional ethics.
