Job Description Summary Direct the day-to-day operations of the insurance compliance department’s Testing and Monitoring Team. Perform annual risk assessments and direct all insurance compliance testing programs. Job Description Responsibilities: Complete the annual insurance compliance risk assessment against applicable state insurance laws and regulations. Develop and execute the annual compliance testing plan. Oversee testing and monitoring to confirm ongoing compliance with state insurance laws and regulations. Partner with key stakeholders to remediate gaps identified through testing. Assign and manage projects for technical and administrative staff. Review testing workpapers and reports for quality, completeness, and adherence to standards. Develop analytical abilities of technical staff to enable them to achieve degree of expertise. Establish departmental policies and procedures. Prepare reports on operation of department. Work closely with legal and compliance SMEs to ensure in depth knowledge of regulatory expectations. Represent the company at various industry related meetings. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, political science, pre-law, paralegal or other relevant area Minimum of 5 years insurance compliance or auditing experience. Preferred Qualifications: At least 1 year supervisory experience preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Advanced analytical, interpretive, organizational and negotiations skills. Understanding of state insurance law and insurance company operations. Working Conditions: Hybrid office environment Compensation: The Salary for this position generally ranges between $102,000 - $112,000 annually. Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in-office, hybrid, remote) and operational needs.
