TasksTasks Position Overview. Responsible for oversight and management of all security and loss prevention matters relating to the people, brand, information, property, profitability, product, and other assets within North America. Roles & Responsibilities Primary responsibilities: Manage physical security programs and operations for Porsche Cars North America (PCNA) and Canada. Manage outsourced physical contract security teams at Atlanta, GA based PCNA Headquarters and Experience Center, and the Porsche Experience Center Los Angeles (PECLA) location respectively. Manage the PCNA Security Command Center (SCC) located at Atlanta, PCNA Headquarters, which monitors local and remote location CCTV coverage. Responsible for development, evaluation, and continuous monitoring and improvement of security processes, policies and standards, technical security systems, emergency procedures. Evaluate security systems and potential suppliers, develop security system scope of works, solicit and obtain proposals, evaluate proposals, prepare recommendations and requests for approval to procure appropriate security systems and services. Serve as SME and security lead project manager for small and largescale security related projects. Coordinate with real estate project construction design teams, general contractors, security system vendors, internal stakeholders and other relevant business partners to ensure implementation of security system scope of works and other physical security requirements. Conduct and document in-person security audits and coordinate remote security audits with relevant stakeholders of Porsche NA facilities, employees, contractors, suppliers, and external security providers to ensure appropriate level of protection of Porsche assets, including intellectual property. Responsible for the management and oversight of the security access control systems at each applicable North American and Canadian facilities. Responsible for the management and oversight of the enterprise-wide CCTV system for applicable North American and Canadian facilities. Generate security concepts and support implementation for Porsche events, including but not limited to product photo shoots, auto shows, vehicle exhibitions, and product testing activities. Manage physical security for corporate events to include photo shoots, auto shows, vehicle exhibitions, and product testing activities. Assist in the development of departmental Business Continuity Plans. Responsible for meeting the security requirements for and protecting the CTPAT interests of the company. Performs annual CTPAT inspections/audits of all applicable PCNA facilities and documents findings. Ensure compliance with and enforcement of federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions. Responsible for the efficient and effective running of contracted security officer services, including interviewing, training, and managing external security personnel. Develop and administer security programs, responsible for identifying security issues, conducting thorough investigations, inspections, and assessments and work with management to develop practical and feasible solutions. Responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining security related Company Directives and internal risk control measures for compliance. Regularly consult with Federal, State, and local police departments, VIP Guest Security, and internal customers regarding Porsche events. Serves as SME security liaison with local fire and police departments to keep abreast of community related issues that may impact Porsche. Investigates crimes on property while cooperating with law enforcement agencies. Supervises facilities, property, parking lots and open spaces to provide protection of vehicles, property, and persons. Provides physical security protection as needed. Manage and control budget for contract security services and security equipment maintenance. Coordinate with and support Facility Management and Workplace Health and Safety Manager on security, safety, and fire and life safety topics. Seeks to ensure proper retention of electronic documents, business confidential information, and actively demonstrates an understanding of the need to safeguard competitive information in both electronic and non-electronic formats.
